John Lewis Oxford Street

The flagship of the John Lewis chain was originally opened as a drapery in 1864 on Oxford Street in London and, as of April 2013, remains the largest site in the John Lewis Partnership. The store is currently the subject of a multi-million pound refurbishment programme intended to both preserve its historic features and enhance its role as a 21st century retail destination.

National Museum of Bosnia and Herzogovina

The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in 1888. In 1913, the museum building was expanded to include a structure of four symmetric pavilions.  These contain the departments of archaeology, ethnology, natural history, and a library.

The museum was closed for several years following the war but has now re-opened and is a cultural and scientific institution covering a wide range of areas including the oldest Sephardic Jewish document in the world issued in Barcelona around 1350.  The museum also has a library housing over 162,000 volumes.
